Finally checked the Golden Gate Bridge off the list on Sunday! Didn't walk the whole thing though, made it to the first tower and noped right back because the wind was insane. Almost lost my hat twice 😂. That view looking back at the city, though? The iconic orange-red against the bright blue sky, with boats looking like tiny little toys down in the bay, honestly looked photoshopped. Ended the day with a hot coffee from the Warming Hut, sitting on the grass and watching everyone else take the exact same photo. Honestly, being a pure, unabashed tourist for a day was a whole vibe. 10/10 would recommend. ☕️🧡

Who else gets completely feral for K-BBQ late at night?! 🫠 Thought I was smart rolling up to Kang Ho-dong in Ktown at 9 PM to dodge the rush... nope, still waited a solid 40 minutes. But taking that first bite? Honestly worth every single second 😭🔥 Got the classic brisket & pork belly combo. Watching it sizzle and turn slightly charred right at your table is basically dinner and a show🤤 The Holy Grail Combo: Take a crisp piece of lettuce, load it up with a juicy, piping-hot slice of pork belly, a heavy swipe of ssamjang, and a pickled radish to cut the richness. Wrap it up, shove the whole thing in your mouth, and prepare to transcend. Absolute heaven. The vibe inside is peak chaos-loud, packed, buzzing, and smelling purely of hot charcoal and soju. We swore we were done, but self-control left the chat and we immediately ordered a second round of pork belly because why not😂

Grabbed a seat at Hog Island after a long week. Dozen Sweetwaters with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Not cheap but worth it, briny, sweet, the way oysters should be. Sat outside by the water watching the Bay Bridge light up. Watched the ferries come and go. Stayed till it got dark and cold, then walked over to the Ferry Building for some ice cream anyway.

Drove up to Grabbed fish and chips from that little blue shack by the road. Nothing really fancy, but the batter was crispy and the fish actually tasted like fish. Took my tray across to the pier and sat on a bench watching the surfers. Sun dropped into the ocean right around 7:30 and everything turned orange for like five minutes.

周末又计划去看海。朋友说去Santa Monica，我直接翻了个白眼。 那个码头，周末人比海鸥还密，找车位找到想弃车。有那功夫我都开到Malibu了。 这次去的叫Malibu Seafood，路边一个小蓝房子，看着挺破的，门口排队巨长。环境普通，但东西是真的新鲜！ 我点了这些： Fish & Chips：炸鳕鱼，外酥里嫩。 Cioppino（海鲜汤）：番茄底的，青口蛤蜊大虾都有。重点是用酸面包蘸那个汤。 生蚝：挤点柠檬直接吸。 吃完别急着走。端杯饮料溜达到对面Pier码头上晃一晃。那片海颜色偏蓝绿，看着很舒服。好多人玩桨板，下次我打算试试。 几点建议： 这家晚上8点就关了，别大晚上跑过去。 停车比Santa Monica好搞，PCH路边或者旁边巷子里找找就行。 强烈建议傍晚5点左右到，吃完正好看日落。太阳沉进太平洋那一小会儿，你会觉得住在LA好像也没那么差。

Took the 1 down to Big Sur last Saturday. No plan, just drove until the road started hugging the cliffs. Pulled over at a random overlook and sat on the hood of the car just staring at the water. It's that deep blue that doesn't even look real. Watched the fog roll in from the north around 4pm and decided to turn back. Didn't make it to Still one of the best afternoons I’ve had in California.
